Winter Festival Wedding, Markington Hall, Yorkshire

This winter festival took place at Copper Beach Glade at Markington Hall in Yorkshire. Copper Beach Glade is the perfect place for a festival wedding and all things boho. Brides can make this blank canvas completely their own and stay in the unique gypsy caravans complete with firepit and log cabin. This is for all those wild at heart couples. Centre stage is the incredible delicately sequined Capella gown from Rolling in Roses, a brand we are obsessed with by the way. They are an independent label based in York for the liberated bride and we have wanted to capture their dresses for a while now. Follow that with a flower crown of scabious, anemone, eucalyptus and pheasant feathers, Dr Martens and a fishtail braid with feathers and leather intertwined, then you have a real free spirited bride. Our groom wears Harris Tweed and relaxes the look with jeans. We love the soft blue accents which enhance the winter season. We think blue is going to be a popular colour for 2019.  The barn set within the grounds of Markington Hall provided the perfect rustic space for the wedding breakfast with gorgeous stationery to tie together the feather and blue theme. What a pleasure to be featured on Festival Brides too. We hope you are inspired for your wedding.
