Woodland Elopement, Cannock Chase
This Woodland Elopement took place at Cannock Chase in Staffordshire, an area of outstanding natural beauty and what a beautiful location this was. The early morning mist gave way to epic sunshine later in the day, creating something truly special. Add to this a gorgeous ceremony and picnic set up and it really was the most dreamy whimsical setting.
As for the bride… it was all about those boho vibes with messy, undone hair styling from Sonya Jayne Bridal Hair and a sublime autumnal makeup palette from Lu Faragher. The gorgeous Enzoani Blue dress, Lavender, from Iris and Belles was teamed with a hot coral jacket adorned with hand-painted flowers for something altogether edgy. Check out Mama Inc Studio if bridal jackets are your thing.
The colour palette incorporated soft, muted pastels with a pop of coral, pantone’s colour of the year. The picnic setting was created by The Little Green Platter Company and we cannot recommend these guys enough if you are planning a grazing platter, or even if you’re not, you should consider it just to use them. For the styling, bohemian macramne props were used for both the ceremony and picnic set up, supplied by Knot Sew Simple and finally the most incredible wild flowers from Green and Wild Flowers really completed the whole look.
Let us know if you are planning a woodland ceremony. In particular, we would love to shoot a wedding at Applewood Weddings, so if that’s you get in touch as we would love to hear from you and talk more about your wedding plans.
